What does echory cost?
echory comes in three plans you can buy online: Basic for individual important conversations, Professional for everyone who negotiates or advises every day, and Business for teams with a shared knowledge base. On top of that there is Enterprise for larger organisations. Prices and scope are in the plan overview. All prices are net, excl. VAT.
Do I need a credit card for the echory trial?
Yes. A payment method is added when the trial starts, but it is only charged after the 14 days. That way you keep working without interruption if you stay, and you stop without any effort if you don’t. Besides credit card, SEPA direct debit is also available.
What happens after the 14-day echory trial?
You get a reminder seven days before it ends. If you don’t cancel by then, your access converts into the plan you chose at the start. If you cancel, access ends on the last day of the trial and nothing is charged.
Which echory plans can I try for free?
All of them. Every plan starts with 14 days free, with the scope of the plan you choose. After that, the trial converts into that plan.
Are echory prices net or gross?
All prices shown are net. VAT is added at checkout and depends on your country: 19 % in Germany. Business customers in other EU countries with a valid VAT ID pay no VAT under the reverse charge mechanism.
Can I cancel echory monthly?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at the end of the current billing period, yearly plans at the end of the year. You do both yourself in your account, without contacting us.
Can I change my echory plan later?
Yes, any time, up or down, directly in your account. If you switch within a billing period, the difference is prorated, so you only pay for what you actually used.
Which devices does echory run on?
echory runs in the browser on macOS and Windows, right next to your call. You can use echory on the same computer, on a second screen or on your smartphone when you need your screen for your presentation. Without headphones there is nothing to install. If you talk with headphones or a headset, you need the echory desktop app for Windows or a Mac with Apple silicon, see Download.
Which meeting tools does echory work with?
echory works with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and anywhere a conversation happens in real time. Because echory runs in your browser next to your call and doesn’t join the meeting as a participant, you aren’t tied to a particular tool and the other side doesn’t need to set anything up.
Will the other person notice that I’m using echory?
Not technically. echory doesn’t join your meeting, no bot is invited, no extra participant appears and nothing is announced. echory runs next to your call in your browser.
Do I have to tell the other person that I’m using echory?
echory doesn’t join your meeting and isn’t visible to the person you’re talking to. But as soon as conversation content is processed, everyone involved should know about it. So let the other person know that the conversation is being transcribed.
What does real-time usage mean at echory?
The hours show how long echory can actively run in your conversations each month. Preparation, follow-up and access to your content don’t count towards it. How many hours your plan includes is shown in the plan overview.
Is echory GDPR-compliant?
Yes. echory is a German provider. Hosted in the EU · Frankfurt. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, your environment is separated from every other, and our AI providers don’t train models on your data. From Professional upwards the same applies to echory itself; on Basic, echory uses only anonymised and aggregated data. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place, and the subprocessor register is public. Details in the Trust Center.
What happens to my conversation data at echory?
What is said in the conversation is processed, along with the content you provide to echory yourself. Both remain your property and are stored encrypted, hosted in the EU · Frankfurt. Our AI providers don’t train models on your data. From Professional upwards the same applies to echory itself; on Basic, echory uses only anonymised and aggregated data. Which data is processed for what purpose and how long it is kept is set out in the data register and the privacy policy.
Why does the echory Business plan need at least three users?
