Calendar Integration Privacy Notice
This notice explains how echory processes calendar data when you connect Microsoft 365 / Outlook or Google Calendar to the echory platform. It complements our Privacy Policy, which covers the website, and the data processing terms agreed with your organisation.
What we access
Title, start and end time, organiser, participants and their email addresses, location or conference link, and the meeting description where available. echory requests read-only access through OAuth and never creates, changes or deletes anything in your calendar.
How we use it
Imported meetings appear in echory automatically. We use their details to prepare your briefings and related content, to support you during the call in live mode, and in the analysis after the call.
AI processing
For these features, meeting details and content derived from them are processed by our AI sub-processor OpenAI (USA, under EU Standard Contractual Clauses and a no-training commitment). See our sub-processor register.
Where and how long
Calendar data is stored on our platform in AWS Frankfurt (eu-central-1) and is scoped to your organisation’s account. It is never visible to other customers. Imported meetings are kept for the retention period agreed with your organisation; where none is agreed, for no longer than 360 days.
Your control
You can disconnect your calendar at any time in Settings. Disconnecting stops the sync, and echory reads no further calendar data. Meetings already imported stay in echory until you delete them or the retention period ends.
Google user data
echory’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine-learning models, we do not sell it or use it for advertising, and no person reads it unless you have given permission, it is needed for security purposes, or the law requires it.
